Music is a family affair.
Dad and I have been playing together for the past twelve years. Father
and son gigging and having a good time. We play with a long list of
talented players over the years and get chances to perform with all of
them from time to time. Blair MacNutt has been a good friend of Dad's
for many years and is a veteran steel guitar player who has played with
many talented people. He's been with us for about three years now. Dad
and I recorded a CD a while back with the help of many good friends.
Two of the songs from the first CD ("The Devil Has Green Eyes" and
"Drunk and Stoned") placed first and third (Country-Rock category) in
the Beartraxx.com Aboriginal Song Search. We won a bunch of studio time
in Winnipeg at Platinum Gold Studios, and with the help of Blair, Gil T
Heartless (Yukon bound guitar player extraordinaire) and Bryce Agecoutay
( Vancouver based little brother "he drums like a Partridge") - Trent Agecoutay
