Ed PrinceTruckers MusicEd Prince, from Peguis, Manitoba, is a fifth generation descendant of Chief Peguis. Chief Peguis was responsible for guarding the lives of Lord Selkirk and his settlers from warring tribes back in the 1800’s. He was dubbed; “King of the Indians” by Queen Victoria for his bravery. When the Chief asked the Queen what she called her sons, she said that the sons in her family were referred to as “Prince”. From that day on all of the direct descendants of Chief Peguis were called “Prince”. Ed Prince has been playing his guitar and singing for over 40 years! His first solo project, "...It’s Supper Time", has made him a celebrity in his community. "On Christmas Day" contains some of the most beautiful Christmas songs ever written and is sure to warm your heart and fill you with the Christmas spirit. |
