The Grand Coulee Old Tyme Jug Band
The Grand Coulee Old Tyme Jug Band originated during some cold stormy Saturday nigh in 1967 when john and Shirley Gorman, Joe and Edna Seeley, and Jim argue would gather at currie and Lin Seeley's for evenings of musical fun. Originally for their own enjoyment, they soon began to play for variety nights, dances, wedding receptions, and senior citizen homes in and around Regina. In 1972 John and Shirley retired from the group and Laura Seitz (Now Laura Argue ) joined the group playing piano and accordion. The fiddle currie plays originally belonged to his father who purchased it second hand in Toronto , in 1900. They hope you enjoy these fiddle tunes as much as they enjoyed playing them for you. You can also purchase the Jug Band's music on iTunes |
