Mike Gouchie’s “Rebel Spirit” and drive to survive have taught him many lessons in life & music!
Music grew naturally into Mike Gouchie’s blood with the continuing influence of his father singing and playing gospel music, straight from the heart. Throughout Mike’s younger years he recalls always being surrounded by the classic country sounds of Hank, George, Buck, and Merle, just to name a few. After his school years, Mike joined some of his old high school friends and formed a Country/Rock band called ‘Gunshy’. They went on to become a very well-known and respected group touring clubs, rodeos, and music festivals throughout Western Canada. “Country music has always been based on real life experiences!
