Nakoda Lodge Nakoda Lodge was formed in 1994 by Everett Hunter. A family drum group from Morley, Alberta, Canada sing in the Nakoda Sioux Language. What began as a bunch of kids singing has turned in the JUNO NOMINATED drum group which tours today's pow wow trail. Originally hailed as the "Aboriginal Boy Band", the boys from Nakoda Lodge have grown up into young men, and have reintroduced themselves as a veteran drum group. Their music has improved with their grown up voices, and their elders have seen them grow up from young boys, into young men. They are ready to release their new album. ![]() |
